Kay S. Breakstone / Senior Investor Relations Strategist
Kay is a former securities analyst with has more than 30 years experience in investor and corporate relations. Kay’s experience covers a wide range of complex shareholder relations issues involving initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, ADR programs, difficult annual meeting situations, strategic targeting, and above all, positioning international and domestic companies within the North American capital markets. As the past president and CEO of Ludgate Communications New York, Kay built a strong international practice working with European and Latin American clients such as CEMEX and Telecom Argentina. Later as EVP & Managing Director of Burson-Marsteller’s investor relations practice, she developed programs for a variety of companies, including Dupont, GE and Coca-Cola, British Telecom, ICI and Reuters. Kay has served as National Chairman of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and as President of the NIRI New York Chapter. She is a member of the Americas Society and the International Advisory Council. In 2010 she received IR Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions in the field of investor relations. Kay is a graduate of New York University where she received her BS in economics with honors and MBA credits and has been a featured lecturer at the NYSE-Amex Stock Exchange, Investment Management Institute, Investor Relations Magazine’s Asian Conferences, Ameri Mexico Investor Relations Conferences, Bank of New York’s Chinese Investor Relations Conferences and the National Investor Relations Institute.
