Kathleen Heaney / Investor Relations Strategist
Kathleen Heaney, a former sell-side equity analyst, has been providing investor relations services to consumer/retail, oil & gas, clean tech, and “special situation” companies for the past six years. Prior to her investor relations career, Kathleen spent 20 years as a sell-side equity analyst/Director of Research/Supervisory Analyst with Furman Selz, Serfin Securities, BT Alex Brown and Brean Murray, among others. During her Wall Street career, Kathleen provided research coverage on U.S., European and Latin American companies including branded consumer products and food & beverage companies as well as apparel, specialty and food retailers. As a sell-side analyst, Kathleen participated in billions of dollars of capital raising events, including IPOs, Eurobonds and mergers & acquisitions for U.S., European and Latin American companies. She also was a member of the Credit Committee for three fixed income Latin Funds with over $2 billion in assets under management. She was frequently quoted in major business publications including the Wall Street Journal, Investors’ Business Daily, Business Week, Fortune, Forbes, U.S.A. Today and appeared numerous times on financial news programs such as CNBC and MSNBC. Kathleen has been ranked number one by Latin Finance, the Greenwich Survey and StarMine analyst ranking polls. She has an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice, a B.S. degree in Business from Long Island University and attended New York University’s graduate school majoring in International Finance & Economics. Kathleen is a member of National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and was a founding member of Women in Energy.
