We served as an extension of staff for the country’s largest wireless provider for more than 22 years providing day-to-day media, community and corporate communications support. Our team is the chief architect of the company’s national HopeLine community service program and creator of the original test drive media strategy that led to the very successful “Test Man” ad campaign.
The Viviani PR team created the concept of cell phone “recycling” in 1998 and began a national trend benefiting charities throughout the country. We introduced Verizon Wireless to the cause of domestic violence education and prevention in 1995, an effort that has resulted in corporate contributions of more than $7 million. Our PR campaign to kick-off the nation’s first cell phone recycling drive with NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani received PRSA-New York’s Big Apple Award for the Best Community Relations Program in New York in 2000.
